The DCellIQ (Dynamic Cell Image Quantitator) software package is
developed by the Center for Bioengineering and Informatics at The
Methodist Hospital Research Institute with a large part of the
development effort was done while CBI group was part of the Harvard
Center for Neurodegeneration and Repair, Harvard Medical School and is
designed in close collaboration with Dr. Randall W. King?s Laboratory at
Department of Cell Biology, Harvard Medical School. The software aims to
provide an automated pipeline for quantitative, reproducible and
accurate interpretation of cell dynamic behaviors using time-lapse
cellular images. DCellIQ is an automated tool with several parameters
being set before the processing. Thus, it is well suitable for batch
processing large image dataset with little human interference.
Manual editing function is provided in DCELLIQ. The user can upload the
processed images and check or change the result manually after the
automated processing. The cell segmentation, tracking, cellular
features, and phase identification results are stored in matlab .mat
files and Excel files. Currently, the software provides functions of
automated cell segmentation, tracking, feature extraction, and phase
identification.
DCellIQ is distributed under the attached
license.
